FBI/WTC

The FBI have said that all eight of the flight recorders from the four crashed planes are destroyed. How can anyone beleive this? They have been designed exactly for such incidents and can take 3400G's/2000F for 2 hours. Even in the pnnsylvania crash, where there was no explosion, both recorders were damaged beyond use. Yet they found a passport belonging to one of the hijackers, in perfect condition just lying in the street? They have got to be taking the piss.

I never heard the FBI say that. The last thing I heard is that the flight recorder from the PA crash was recovered and taken to the manufacturer (Boeing). The exact details of what was found on the black box has not been released though.

where do you get your information? Mad Magazine? They haven't fount the ones at the WTC and the one at the Pentagon was destroyed and the ones in Pennsylvania has been recovered. I've noticed a lot of your posts are similar to this one.

innvertigo is right, the four at the wtc are under a couple million tons of steel and concrete. it will be a while before they are recovered

what brought the WTC down was an intense heat strong enough to melt the steel supports and definantly strong enough to destroy a black box recorder, but maybe they'll get lucky

The pennsylvania one has been found and is just fine thanks.

I must say, Im also a bit skeptical 'bout that passport though......

Instead of the dove as the symbol of peace we should have a pillow. Its got more feathers but doesnt have that nasty sharp beak......
