Agar question

Growing out some PC mycelium on agar. The growth is very light, almost fuzzy. This is about the third generation transfer. For each generation, I chose the thickest looking sectors. Advice? If I use this growth for spawn, will it fruit?

So, if it will still fruit, what advantage does rhyzomorphic growth have? better fruiting?? better growth?

rhizomorphic growth on agar indicates strong mycelium and good fruits under the right conditions are obtainable... gl bro

so, here's a question. which has better yields: 1. a multi-spore inoculation of grain, then cased, or 2. cased grain spawned from an agar culture, but not rhizomorphic growth?
any ideas out there??

I'd also recomend the first, you'll notice strain degredation over a short span if you continue to clone from sucsessive generations

I would give light to one petri and in no time you?ll see its fruiting potencial: Make sure you have at least 2 petris of the same strain.

Looks great. I was under the impression that if I didn't get that kind of growth in one of the earlier sectors, this more light and fuzzy growth would never turn into that kind of growth no matter how many transfers I did. True, or not true??
