found some!!!

i live in florida and i went last nite and i found a good 30 caps...on avg they were about the size of a quarter or maybe a little smaller. me and my friend split them up and ate them but we didnt trip though. does anyone have an idea why not. i was 99% sure they were the right kind so i dunno

You probable ate inactive mushrooms -- don't eat anything your not 100% sure of.. that 1% of not knowing can get you or people around you hurt.

hmm i wonder why? could it be because you havent picked active mushrooms. First of all never eat mushrooms your not sure of. When in doubt throw out.

Field mushrooms dont suck, they kick ass. The reason they didn't trip was because they didn't pick actives.

yeah u guys are right...im pretty sure this was the kind we ate but they were a little more yellow and became a gold in the center http://www.mushroomjohn.com/panaeolusantillarum1.htm

they were probably Panaeolus foenisecii aka the lawn mowers mushroom

that looks like it could be it but the santillarum looks more like it bc the stem was white and i found some growing from cow shit

Be careful. I don't even fuck around with shrooms that have lookalikes. I just go for the cubensis, you can't confuse those with anything!
