Needin some help in central Alabama
    #4005130 - 04/02/05 03:37 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Alright, I need some community help. I found some mushies that I think are Pan. Sub. A few I think may be Copes. There is also one strange one at the top right of one of the pics. The spore print on all but the strange one is a very dark brown maybe purple (almost black). The strange one has I think a cinnimon lookin color. All but the strange one smell like cubes just not as pungent. They appear to be bluing. I haven't got to trip since October, so I'm hoping yall could tell me some good news. If they are active, how many should I eat like a medium. Sorry guys, I'm only experienced with cubes. Thanks for the help!!!!

They look like pan foes to me. Subs have thicker white stems. Also you need to state what they were growing out of and loc. Ect Ect

I also found alot of those (in NW Georgia) and conducted a bioassay. as far as i know they are not active. like Stonerguy said, they're prolly P. foenisecii.

Well, they're probably more likely to be something from the Panaeolus campanulatus species complex(due to habitat), but they're inactive none the less.
