The Null Religion
    #4005039 - 04/02/05 03:04 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

We will do all manner of silly rituals, but the main difference is we won't pretend that they have any power or meaning. We will mainly gather together to check out members of the opposite sex (just like in a real church), but we will be honest about it. We will drink lots of wine without alluding to any ancient mystery.

Who will join me?

So, you are looking for partners in the night club meat market business eh?

I dunno, you can't deny the power of an Armani suit or spiked heals in that ritualistic gathering. Sending drinks and hair tossing and picking up tabs and the swiveling of hips are all pretty powerful rituals in their own right. Many are seduced by them.

Hahaha it can be called "Club Swami". I can see your name in Neon lights....................

Isn't "life" a meatmarket if you choose to "see" it that way - for ALL sexes....?    :smirk:

Where do vegetarians fit in?

Hahaha, I just remembered that my parents met through the church. I will never see a church the same again. Indeed, meet markets are found in the strangest places.

I am not a full vegetarian....  Yet....  But, I certainly have subconsciously started in that direction in a major way....  Never has "natural" plant foods tasted so good in my life....!  Mostly has been fruits, nuts, and teas in my diet lately....  Strange the things that happen when you change, and what you notice when you do....     Yummy Yummy....!

Toss out the rituals and I'm in.

Toss out the rituals...

Is that possible? Doesn't every gathering have some form of ritual?

I nominate Jiggy for social director. And please tell us more about the spiked heels and swiveling hips...

True... but we needn't do senseless rituals that have no significance... not until we're smashed at least.
