A Good Book To Give my Mom?
    #3997682 - 03/31/05 09:00 PM (19 years, 1 day ago)

Im looking for a good spiritual book to give my mom for her birthday. She is a very successful business woman who puts family before everything but I feel that her spirituality is waning with age and hardship.

Im looking for something to help rejuvinate her and to help her once again appreciate the beauty of life (I could also use some suggestions myself :p). Thanks.

I think you would both enjoy reading Barbara Marciniak. Her books are very inspirational and uplifting. I recommend "Earth" or "Bringers of the Dawn". Reading these books gave me a sense of deja vu, like I was reawakening forgotten knowledge. If you are ever in a rut these books are a breath of fresh air. Easy reading too.

Listen to me on this one and she'll love you for it.  Its called Just A Couple of Days, by Tony Vigorito.  Its one of the best books I've ever read, I've lent it to two people and both bought their own copy.  Go to amazon.com and look it up, nothing but 5 stars.

And go to the website, justacoupleofdays.com and you can read some excerpts.

Trust me on this.

I always tell the intersted lackluster types to approach Tom Robbins material with none but the most fanatical speed.
