The Meaning of LIFE....
    #4004345 - 04/02/05 11:47 AM (11 years, 11 months ago)

It is pretty simple really....  To live MY life with positive meaning, and positive purpose....    That is it....  LIVE LIFE....
.
.
.
Edit: "MY" was "Your", and added "life" to the "end"....

Meaning of life is to learn lessons and grow, meaning of existence is just to exist

What's the meaning of the life in your cells? To support our existence or to support their own? To grow or to be?

What is there to learn and grow into?

It's not on the subconscious level...

for example... a subsconscious mind can not lie even if you are the worse liar ever.

So what are you really saying here?

Built in laws of right and wrong residing the subconscious?

"a subsconscious mind can not lie."

True that  But honesty might point towards different urges/tendencies or views. ummm.

we were all born with a tendency to search for sensations that make us feel good instead of bad, even masohism is a way of pleasing yourself. So all it takes is a little bit of network connection (empathy) to make your natural unleashed unconscious mind make it a standard for everyone.

The meaning of life is to live your life with positive meaning?

Could you be more redundant and vague?

Defining a word or phrase by using the same word or phrase has no meaning.

I preach no more....  I do as I do, you do as you do....  I said "your" in my first post, perhaps that should be "Me"....
To live MY life with positive meaning, and positive purpose....

Thank you for pointing that error out to me....

The meaning of life, is to find out whether or not life has a meaning... thus each person imbues their own perspective, subjective to their conditioning.

The meaning of life... is simply the "why".

Edit:
It isn't too disimilar about asking the meaning of wife...

A wife could be for tax purposes, love, care, sex, etc... all depends what you make of it.

The meaning of life, is to find out whether or not life has a meaning..

This is yet more circular thinking. If one has predetermined that life has no meaning, then the meaning is not to search for meaning - :hypno:

No, then the meaning would be to find out that it has no meaning

Thus giving a reason to live to find the meaning...

I suggested that the meaning is why... as why is a question, thus, the meaning of life is to find an answer.

To exist as you. For the time that you exist. Then stop existing in this medium.Dissolve to atoms, maybe become a planet or a stone etc.

--------------------
when you're watching television the higher brain regions (like the midbrain and the neo-cortex) are shut down, and most activity shifts to the lower brain regions (like the limbic system). The right hemisphere is twice as active as the left, a neurological anomaly. The crossover from left to right releases a surge of the body?s natural opiates: endorphins, which include beta-endorphins and enkephalins. Endorphins are structurally identical to opium and its derivatives (morphine, codeine, heroin, etc.).After just 30 seconds of watching television the brain begins to produce alpha waves, which indicates torpid (almost comatose) rates of activity.

I would suggest that such asking merely adds an unnecessary level of complexity, like when someone dies tragically and friends ask "Why?" There is no answer and the question itself brings about more pain.
