hehe... im already confused :) im feeling a little slow today- and have a few q's... if i dont use straw, can your supplement still be of any use to me? would it be *too much* to add it to a dung based compost run? its only for spawning, right? is organic better, or simply produced organically (i see it has a lower protein content)...? sounds neat... but i just cant get straw in nor cal...

CAC, means "Compost Added at Casing". It's a tecnique used in button mushroom farming, where after the compost is fully colonised the top layer of the compost is mixed with the casing soil to speed up the colonisation of the casing layer. It has nothing to do with supplementation.
