Can any of you give me some tips on mushroom hunting in south Jersey? I'm fairly new at this and i don't know where to look. Also, I found some growing in mulch, dirt, and woodchips over my friends house. They are small; about an inch tall, white/golden stem, light brown / goldish caps, growing indvidual. Does anyone know what these are? (sorry to be vague). Can anyone help me out with either question?
I don't think you found any think special but in Jersey there are 2 actives that are listed in the location thingy. New Jersey Panaeolus subbalteatus Psilocybe graveolens Do some research, and also read the stickys up at the top to give a proper discription.
