Ahh the Oklahoman sun...
    #4000116 - 04/01/05 02:03 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

These plants were started with a soaked paper towel in ziplock bag.
Bagseed, and watered every 2 to 3 days.

Just for fun, not really expecting to get anything out of them.
:sun:

Im growing bagseed right now(second time), and trust me when I tell you it will be ALOT better than whatever you took the seeds out of. First off its sinsemilla and on top of that you can cure it right and actually increase the potency more(read overgrows FAQs.) Go for it man. Peace

As long as there are holes in the bottom of those 2 cups for drainage, your plan will work. I would pull the weaker of each of the pair in cups. They all will become rootbound and flower early for an early harvest.

There are holes in the bottoms of the peat pots and cups...
Would letting them become rootbound make the plants mature fully but really small?

and how would I go about doing that?

I doubt it...never seen that happen. Growing in 16oz cups outdoors allows for an early harvest from rootbound plants. What exactly do you mean by "actively managing"? Cannabis will grow fine in small rootspaces and bud with no ferts at all, its been doing it for thousands of years.

I don't have pics of the containers, but I can produce pics of plants that are 1.5-2feet flowered while rootbound if you doubt me *This is a very common guerilla technique*. The logistics of it are simple. When a plant runs out of root space to grow, it is time to finish up for babies to grow around it. It will FORCE FLOWER due to this stress. If you said this was impossible in any region of the world where cannabis has been growing for centuries, you would be laughed away

Three 2' Male AK47s from SEED last year in 16ozs pollinated over five plants.

Here, try this.
Plant a seed in a 16oz cup outdoors in August. It will FULLY flower and probably not even use the entire offered root space in that time.

Or this...
Plant a seed in a cup and put it under 18/6 light. When it runs out of rootspace, it will flower regardless of light cycle. Of course strains will vary but this in general works for most every strain
