Mimosa Hostilis stem bark

Has anyone attempted an extraction or a brew with this?

I found a very cheap source of it. I know it should contain less alkaloid, but if it still contains a reasonable amount of it i'd strongly consider start using it for extraction as i can get it at a price several times lower than that of the rootbark.

The alkaloid profile is the same (only w/ lower amounts), am i right?

If anyone has any info or personal experience on this i'd appreciate it

What kind of mimosa is it?

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

Hostilis. I should have made it clear. Will edit. Just assumed it would be clear as hostilis is the only mimosa i know of which is being used for extraction these days.

I don't know the answer to your question, but be careful and keep the kava fiasco in mind. It's probably safe, but you'll never know .
