What's with the 64 bit processor? You do realise you're running a 32 bit OS right?

The fastest cpu's available (specifically the fx-55) has integrated 64bit support so i got it for now without needing it. However, i want this comp to last me quite a few years during which i assume 64bit will become the dominant platform for cpus so i figure it is a good idea to get it.
