hey.. for sterilizing i dont have a preasure cooker
is it alright to use a slow cooker or a steamer.. I'm not sure witch one i have...
if niether of them would wourk what else could i use.
maybe a but pot with boiling water would do??

You could use a steamy alternative, but it takes longer, and there is an increased chance of contamination. With all the crazy bad shit you can grow without meaning to, I suggest you collect the $40 for a pressure cooker.
It will let you sterilize much faster and more completely.

Furthermore, if you don't continue with the growing hobby, you can use the pressurecooker for other things.

It can stew a whole chicken in like 9 minutes! NINE minutes!!!

You can't go wrong with that.

If you want to use whole grain/birdseed,you WILL need a pc.
Brown rice flour does fine if you steam it long enough. Ebay usually has a good selection of pressure cookers.
I've cook chicken a couple times in my pressure cooker,nine minutes and its done! the seasoning and white wine soaks in nicley too.Was well worth the $!!
