Found a couple unidenitfied "copes" today ive found them before and ingored them since i only know how to idenitfy cubes.. They are one and a half in tall the stems are very skinny whitish copper before picked.. The stems are not thick they are hollow. They appear to bruise blue the only problem i have is that when i actuall cut them they dont bleed blue, it turns copper when cut.. the caps are tan whitish before picked turning greyish after.. the caps are maybe, half an inch but once again they are pre mature.. They where growing on cow shit.. I just dont know if they are cope's or an inactive pan.. Just wandering if you cut the stems of copes do they appear more copperish? and the caps are half balls shaped, and or bell shaped

I suspect you are imagining the Blue.

If this is an even extremely remote possibility, then you should know that your mushrooms are inhabitants of the inactive cluster of black spored, dung eating LBMs called by the name Panaeolus campanulatus.
