Not indie rock, but a neat album to look into is A Grand Don't Come For Free by The Streets. It's very eclectic and original.

Earlier 'Streets' music is better, but that album is more accesible.

pinback -- I just got into them a few months ago and can't stop listening to them now. I also found out they will be coming to my town in may, so I'll definately be going. tickets are only like $12 too.
