do i have to pick them all at once or can i pick just the mature ones

Be careful not to disturb the neighbors too much. Grab the mature mushrooms as close to the base as you can and twist.

twisting is very helpful in removing as little casing as possible.

Also, mycofile recommended to me that I should mist the casing just prior to harvest and less casing will come up as well.

I haven't had the chance to try it, cause it's tricky to mist through the caps. ( I let them open up ALL the way) But mycofile's a PRO'S PRO so I'm sure it's great advice
