whilst searching the fields that are occupied by the Woodford Folk Festival at new years, i came across this authentic artifact of a mushroom demon mask! see it with your own eyes! fall in love with it's beauty!

Did you put the mushroom there.. orr? And I would not call it a demon!! Last thing you need are some demons chasing your tail in the fields.. Settle for mushroom fairy or something similarly goofy :smile:

is that wood or horns? was the the mush growing on it when you found... or do you hold the thing by the horns and let it vibrate to tell you what direction to go in to find mushrooms??? :tongue:

I agree with Day Tripper. There is no such mask as a mushroom demon mask and the mazatec, as well as the Aztec had no mask for mushrooms period. I tend to think he placed the shroom there to make it look like a Blair Witch Project idea.

haha sorry guys, i didn't mean to cause confusion. here's the real story: tripping on mushrooms at woodford, searching the fields for more i came across a piece of cow vertibrae (?) which, to my now overly imginative mind appeared to have a face in it. i carried this face around with me for hours looking for more shrooms, found it some horns (two sticks) and then eventually a huge juicy shroom!

this is no mushroom demon mask, just a bit of fun i had while tripping! it still looks a lot like a face to me, and it's currently hanging in my loungeoroom!
