Coconut Tree?

At the beginning of summer I used to sterilize my coco fibre in qrt jars (until I realized it didn't need it).
But I had this one jar I forgot about in a cupboard with 2" of coco left at the bottom. Found it today and it has a nice root structure (never innoc'd). I guess I'm growing a coconut tree! Wish I had some pics for ya. LOL

Coconut trees grow from coconuts (that contain the embryo), not from coconutfiber. Coconutfiber is merely the grounded decomposed (fleshy) outer part of the coconut.

It's probably some sort of fungus that's growing in those jars...interesting, but i would throw them out :wink:
