DEA exhibit at Detroit museum
    #3991256 - 03/30/05 06:08 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

I saw it on the news the other night.
Here

It's some exhibit the DEA is setting up at museums across the country showing the devastating effects drug traffickers and terrorism has on our society. If any logically thinking museum goers happen to see this exhibit it should shout at them something along the lines of "LEGALIZE AND REGULATE!!!". Take the drugs out of the hands of the traffickers and terrorists and put them into the hands of safely regulated store owners. DEA, lick my ball sack.

Great, blaming the WTC destruction on drugs.

It doesn't matter if they can back it up, they've planted an association
deeply within the country's culture. We can never hope to get it out of
the normals who go to the exhibit.

Good idea!

I won't be doing it myself, though.

All lifeforms are our brothers and sisters, just because they hurt us doesn't change this.....it does make them evil motherfuckers with a shitload of bad karma to work out, and they are our enemies.....but in the end we are all one.

Funny, I've heard Christians say the same thing about their religion.

   Yeah, well most christians are christians...... Karma is a pretty simple idea though, one very widely accepted throughout the world, and in many different forms. Scientifically for instance; for every action there is a reaction.  It's sad if you really believe that the DEA and other related assholes are going to get away with all the shit they do to us.....and even sadder if you're right.

I agree with you that the DEA are our brothers just like everyone is.  We're all one.  However, I don't believe in karma.  It just doesn't work out like that in real life.  If it did, the DEA would have been destroyed a LONG time ago.

Well, obviously this world isn't just....I think the true test facing all of us is living in this terribly unjust world without hurting/hating people to the very best of our abilities. Although I think karma plays a part in certain events in our lives, I think the biggest effect is when we die. I believe that tripping is a model of what occurs when we die, with the Clear Light being the end result, whether or not we're reborn...I'm not sure, I think it varies. Anyway, I'm sure you've been through the crazy thought patterns during tripping where you go over various things you said/did/thought in your life with all the blinders taken off. During this I experience corresponding emotions, visuals, auditories and kinesthetics. Basically I think we go through every single action, emotion and thought of our lives like this as we spiral towards the Clear Light......it's more psychological than religious IMHO. Anyway, can you imagine what this would be like if you spent your life harming/destroying others? That's what I mean when I say that the DEA has a shitload of bad karma. Anyway, even if that turns out to be wrong it's still better to treat others the way you'd like to be treated.  Anyway, enough of this.....I'm not trying to hijack the thread.....one thing we can all agree on; Fuck the DEA!  :flipthebird: :piggie:

Geocentricism is also a simple theory, and one that used to be widely accepted throughout the world. Scientifically, the sun, moon and stars all appear to circle around the planet without using any advanced technology to see further.

Yet I have seen less evidence for Karma than I have for geocentricism in my life. It seems to be, at best, wishful thinking, hopes that the severe wrongs done to you, and others in this society, will be repaid to the bastards that did them.

It's just Natural Selection. If it's beneficial to fuck other people over, those people will prosper. And that seems to be the case. The DEA tends to prey on the lower part of our society anyway, those that cannot fight back because society has made them into criminals, so it prospers. I can blame the DEA no more for using its power than I can blame the snake for eating the mouse who squeaks for help.

The snake needs to eat the mouse for survival, you don't have to destroy people's lives because they are different to survive...they choose to do that, and that choice makes them evil. "The DEA tends to prey on the lower part of our society anyway, those that cannot fight back because society has made them into criminals, so it prospers." That means that the DEA is the lowest of the low....they are fucking scum in my opinion.
