Fresh Tomatoes, Onion, Cilantro, Habaneros, Jalapenos, Red Bell Pepper and Lemon/Lime makes the salsa.

First to make the worlds best salsa youve got to fire roast the bell pepper and one Jalapenos.

Then peel and chop everything into small bits and stir together in a bowl. I used two whole habaneros and this shit was good. The bell pepper tames things alot and gives a great flavor. juice of one lemon and one lime plus a few splashes of Corona and Franks Red Hot were used to get the juices flowin.

I dont use ground beef any more since I learned how good it is when choped in the food processor.
This is a pice of London Broil I had in the freezer.

Mix the meat with some choped onion, taco seasonings, lime and Franks Red Hot. Salt and pepper too.

I brown the meat in canola oil in batches cuz I like it to get crispy and not stewed.

I made some with soft corn tortillas for a friend which is how you get tacos here in California if you order them. I like mine in hard shells though.
Just toast the shells in the oven, spread a little cheese on the bottom to keep juices from getting through, heap it full of meat, salsa, more cheese and choped salad mix.

I made Nachos out of the rest. Next time I think Ill make chili out of the leftover meat.

This post has been brought to you by, Corona.

Very nice.

For those that may not want (or don't have) all those ingredients or who may be looking for a more 'traditional' Mexican taco (though wtf is tradition anyway):  Just cook up some good quality chopped steak, grab a wedge of lime, chop up some onions with cilantro and have a bottle of hot sauce on the side.  Guacamole optional

Chopped steak --> Into soft tortilla --> pile on the onion/cilantro mixture --> squeeze some lime --> hot sauce to taste.

.. and if you ever find yourself south of the border down mexico way, make sure you get some pork/carnitas tacos from the big roasting tower of meat that just sits there slowly spinning past the burner for days on end.  So damn delicious, and three of 'em for only a buck!

Yah, I cant get me enough of them taco truck tacos..

They cost a buck each and Ive got dozens of trucks to chose from around here.. Lots of restaurants around SoCal have huge BB-Qs out front and they Q up seasoned pork and beef and make buritos and tacos right on the sidewalk. People line up all day long to get them.

Up here in Bakersfield there are literally a million taco shops every where in town. MOST places are the traditional TWO pieces of Corn Tortilla, the smaller ones, with what ever you ordered. I usually get Al Pastor, then carnitas then asadas.

Thanks for sharing, GabbaDj. Cool tip on processing your own thicker cuts. Also try sun dried tomatoes, tequila, pork, or anything else reasonably well paired on your tacos- NEVER be afraid of how your food looks- it should be scared of you. You bastard- you have made me so fucking hungry... It's like I smoke weed for nothing whenI eat like this. Those pics of tacos.....
