    #3989125 - 03/30/05 08:17 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

First time using an all rye bag (Mycobags Ryzomorph bags). Inoculated with 2 cc from spore syringe about 2 and a half weeks ago....very little growth...just some white here and there, all on the top of the bag...the bottom of the bag is kinda gooie looking....anyone ever have experience with these bags? Are they normally slow?

If the bottom of it is "gooey", there is a chance that it is bacterial contam. Hard to say without a pic or more details.

Does the rye appear to be creamy?

Perhaps like this?

If it does resemble this, I would say its definitely bacterial contam.
