I read alot about people using it on this board but im still not 100% sure as to what it is used for? Can someone just tell me what they use it for? and it is hydrogen peroxide right? and my last question is.. since im going to buy this from where i work.. should i pick up a bottle of rubbing alcohol while im at it? for sterilization reasons.

Get them both, yes. They are both used to aid sterilization.
