 Scholarship for one semester abroad! where to go?

So i finally received word that i can study a semester abroad at a partner university.
Since i filed my application late the popular choices such as Australia, USA, New Zealand and South Africa are out so im not sure where i should go.
There are plenty of universities in Europe that im guaranteed to get a spot in but i would rather go outside of EU.
Right now i can choose between: Thammasat university in Thailand, Hiroshima university in Japan, Capital Normal University in China, Bauhaus-University Weimar in Germany and some university in Chile, south Korea and one in Istanbul Turkey.
I don't really care about educational standard i just want to get away for a while and chill.
Looks like its really happening this time around and im running out of time.

where is the university in chile? if it is in santiago i would say go for it... southamerica is definitely the place to be... you'll have an awesome time there...
as for germany i would advice against it... weimar is quite a small city so i doubt there will be anything interesting happening there...
good luck on it, man! i hope whatever you chose brings you a good time and awesome experiences

I also have heard great things about South America; I had a friend who spent a year in Argentina and it was a life-changing experience.

yeah man, i grew up in ecuador... and it is definitely something that has marked me forever... especially now that i'm in germany and experience the abismal cultural differences between these countries... of course every country has it's good sides, but i will always consider myself to be an ecuadorian...
the people in southamerica are great... they have such an amazing life energy and happiness that is just contagious... you will find friends in no time, especially in santiago... and not to mention the women down there are BEAUTIFUL... and always have a thing for foreigners...

Bummer Australia and New Zealand are out, because that is where I would suggest you go 
I'd pick Santiago also, as I've heard all kinds of good things about it. Some friends who went there said that Chile has the most beautiful women in the world! Be careful there though, because it is dangerous for pedestrians in South America! Argentina (Buenos Aires) has the highest pedestrian death count per year in the WORLD!

new zealand, japan, or south africa, IMO they are the most unique. I would love to see all three.

Chile or Thailand-----
My reasons:
South korea and Japan are the most consumerist nations in the world, and just like Europe in terms of the way of life.
China is trying too much to be like the "western world" and had dubious politics.
Turkey (soon in the EU) could be fun but thailand and Chile are probably going to be a much more Unique experience

South America. Chile is close to a lot of amazing places. You can take time off to go to Ecuador, or Peru, Argentina...

After talking with some of the exchange students and faculty i have decided to study in Istanbul 
My school has an excellent exchange program with the universities in Turkey so i wont basically have to do anything and i will receive a 3500$ cash scholarship, free accommodations, tuition, plane ticket, and 900$monthly allowance.
Im so excited!
