All bad cops should be taken out and killed.

Are you saying we do NOT have a prediliction for certain things? Just as some actors can only play certain roles, so too are we cast by birth and environment.

Every day you come here you chose your own role to play.
I can't remember when was the last time you started a thread about something that fascinates you.

Actually, i do feel I have predilection to play certain roles. I don't like that feeling, do you? Those roles I seem to be better suited for get me into a lot of hot water. I figure, I have a few choices. I can learn to better enjoy the hot water and how to take the heat with more ease and grace, I can say to myself, if free will exists then I choose to play the roles I do for a reason and so I should trust in myself and accept that I did so to serve the greater good, or, I can decide to hang up that costume and train and study to play a new role or maybe no role.

I guess what I am suggesting is, if you feel your role is serving the common good but not so popular or appreciated then you have to find away to rise above that and look at the big picture and appreciate it for yourself and not resent it OR, work to train and study for a new role to serve the greater good. Whatever you do, just choose to love appreciate and enjoy yourself in it above all.

Just as some actors can only play certain roles, so too are we [all] cast by birth and environment.

my son is not quite a year and a half, and already he can play the harmonica.

oops, he just busted the harmonica while I was typing that last sentence.

Cops are lame... Anyone who enforces something for the benefit of a piece of paper, and not for the benefit of the community should be sent to prison to be analy raped by huge c0ck's with herpes.

Personaly I think Bush should be, if we elected someone who actualy had a brain I think the world would be a better place as far as law enforcement goes.

Cops are lame

the first reply you'll get is "Hey man chill out, cops are people too."

To that I say "Yeah, they are. They are people who took a look at all the myriad employment options available to them, and chose to be cops."

All I can say is, I would NEVER make that choice. Also, I wish some cops who made that choice hadn't.

"TOo bad a lot of cops are frustrated poisoned bigots"
I have known quite a few cops and I am afraid you stray close to the mark. The person who becomes a cop out of the desire to serve his fellow man is rare. If you find one, however, you have found a fine individual. Firefighters who want to help their fellow humans are, fortunately, abundant, as I have known plenty of those too (and been one).

--------------------
"A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda
