At what temperature does psylocybin die?

I searched for the answer before posting, so if it's a recent repeat, I missed it.
I'm a first time grower, I'm having so-so results on my first cakes. Today when I was fanning, I accidentally knocked a small pin off of one of my cakes. I had to leave for work, and didn't want to run my fan just to dry one little pin, so I tossed it on top of my computer tower where it's fairly warm (90-100 degrees). When I got home from work (4 hours later), the little pin was completely cracker dry. Is it safe to dry my shrooms on top of my tower? At what temperature does potency begin to decrease?

do more reading and you will find that you will not hurt the psilocybin or psilocin with heat This thread needs to be locked

Heat exposure does indeed start decomposing psilocybin as does UV and O2 exposure. Heres the thing I've noticed, once dried shrooms lose less quickly but still lose period. Teas can certainly be made and I will have to say they do start losing the actives but really not much by the time you either drink it or it cools off. Thread will stay open so others can learn myself included.

I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

just acting up, with temps under 180 you will not notice any loss
