Qs about Workman's tek and other misc issues

Hi all. I'll give a super quick introduction in my first post ever here. I am an old donkey, who pretty much had to stop dreaming about growing mushrooms when my old home place (phish reference fyi) disappeared. Recently though the dreams have returned, and I am coming here looking for answers.
Anyway. . .
Last night I had a dream, and it went like this. I was trying to use finch seed and quart jars for the first time ever. Actually, something beside BRF and Verm and half pints for the first time ever. I steeped in distilled water for 45 min, added 7 teaspoons of gypsum, and pc'd for 60 min @ 15psi. Even before pcing, and again after, the seed just looked like it was clumping together, so I decided to scrap that project right there before wasting any spores. So, I decided to change my plan after reading up some, and now I want to go with Workman's Tek, but I have a few questions first.
1. Is there anywhere I can actally find this tek besides other people's posts?
2. The ratios are 250ml of seed and 130ml of water, right?
3. Do I soak the seed in the water right in the jars?
4. Do I have to rinse the seed after 24 hours of soaking?
5. When do I add the gypsum, and more importantly, I thought someone in my dream said they got their gypsum from a homebrew store, whereas I purchased mine from a garden center, and right on it, it says "Garden Gypsum." Is this the same, and will it work?
6. Lastly, are there any modifications to be made to the water content if I am using liquid innoculant?
That's it. Only six questions for now. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, as I would love to get these dreams back on track asap.

lol .. I wish I could help you, but I am happy for you that you are wanting to partake of the fungus again. Feel good?
I believe in Mr. Grieves ! Also, everything in the above post is entirely fictional, like PC !

Thanks for the reply Psilocyber. Just one thing though: what about the gypsum?? Could I use the garden gypsum, and when is it added? Right before the water I imagine? Or is it not even necessary?? Thanks again.

I'd say you might want to play with the water and seed ratio... different brands will probably expand more or less than others. Pennington's finch seed is probably the best seed. I usually rinse the seed, steep for 45 minutes and drain the water. After that I put the seed into a bowl and add enough whole wheat flour to get the mix to the right "wetness" I guess you could say. Then pc for 45 - 60 minutes. Thats just my little way of doing it. You could use BRF in place of the WWF, but wwf is easier to find (grocery) and works fine for me. Also, I use plastic lids with a 1/2" hole in the center and either stuff the hole with poly-fil or use a filter disk.... I believe workman uses the plastic lids with the poly -fil also, most likely where I picked up that method. Anyway, maybe that helps you some? Good luck
