I want to hear what you use.
I know what can be used and how to, I just want to hear what some of you have tried and how it performed
Doesn't seem to be discussed in detail in the faq. (unless I missed it )
Me? I use Honey Water. 1 tablespoon good fresh honey to 500ml water.

1 teaspoon of organic yellow honey to 100ml water is my common LC recipe. Works beautifully

dextrose is better
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

So far, I've had the best luck with 4 grams of dextrose mixed with 96 mL water. (4% dextrose solution)
Not the most aggressive growth, but it does the trick.

Just slightly less than 2% each dextrose & light dry malt. PC @ 15 psi 20 minutes. If mixture contains excess carmalized debris after PC'ing. Decant, filter twice through double coffee filters & re/PC - same as above.
Optimal liquid cultures also (IMHO) require filtered gas exchange/aeration, agitation and/or stirring by whatever means.

The faq has some good info, but not very detailed..
Maybe I'll try and make a faq entry thats a little more detailed on liquid culture and different recipes.
Like Shdwstr's post here.

i am enticed by liquid culture! i somply love the thought of it and will be started on it right after my first flush! im extremely exited about a constant psilocybin and psilocin farm which i learned from the FAQ above its something that should be more popular amongst growers i think . its much faster and has the same effects of a dried shroom... but you get so much more out of it ! although im not speaking from experience just from pure enthusiasm
