hey everyone,
i havnt actually started cultivating yet, but i will be starting soon, so im in the process of planning and preparing.

for the fruiting chamber, if i am using a perlite layer to help keep the humidity up, do i use the spray method like youre supposed to with the dual chamber terrarium? or do i just need to fan out the air from time to time and let the moist perlite do its job?
also, im concerned about temperature. the area i will be growing in keeps a room temperature varying between 67-78F. im going to be using a small fruiting chamber (1-3 cakes) and was wondering how i might keep the temperature at the desired level. seems like it would be a bit more complicated in a small chamber as opposed to large.
for the perlite layer on the bottom, i was thinking of laying about an inch in the bottom of the fruiting chamber then laying down a screen (1/2 in gap cage) frame to seperate the cakes from the perlite, think this is a good idea?

lastly, if i order spore syringes, is there a method for re-sterilizing for use with spore prints and making another syringe? (my goal is to buy 1-2 syringes then make prints from there on out).
also, any recommendations on where to get spore syringes? iv seen a lot of advertised places, wondering which one would be best to use (sketchy of ordering online due to previous rip-offs)

I'd recomend a TiT (Tub in Tub) Incubator/fruiting chamber... it's easyer, and easyer to control the temp...

There are a few tek's on syringe making (a little down the road, but it's good to have an idea)

As for Suppliers, I could recommend a few, PM me...

Get a hygrometer so you can monitor your Humidity level. So far your setup reminds me of my first grow, so go with it.

yeah i planned on doing a TiT for the incubator. i wasnt sure if i needed to use the TiT method for the fruiter. im a little worried about the use of a fish tank heater. since im going to be using a fairly small fruiting/incubator (16" tall and 16x10 wide) theres about 2 inches of space when these containers are stacked, so im not sure if i can rig it up where its not gonna burn a hole in anything and start a fire. i considered using a larger container with water and the fish tank heater and using a smaller container for fruiting that has pleanty of space for spacers and room to move around. but im trying to do this using as little space as possible (there are certain people that this needs to be conceiled from /wink)

oh yeah, do i need to spray the fruiting chamber with a mister if i use a perlite layer? i know youre supposed to do it if youre using a dual chambered terrarium.

Keep an eye on the humidity levels in your fruiting chamber. I spray my casings during the fruiting process, but generally only mist my container if the perlite isn't doing it's job. (Try to keep the wink wink stuff to a minimum, not everyone condones steath ops)
