Dualism to enlightenment.
    #3982255 - 03/28/05 11:35 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

There is/has and will always be a presence of both evil and good. It is a balance of nature for such a thing to exist. Our creator has created a dualistic realm that we exist in. I'm not sure but i believe that the ying and yang means balance. That it always has good and bad and always will. What we must learn is how to balance ourselves to fit in with the good and bad. Once you have reached this state of mind where you are capable of no longer seeing good and bad, you have become enlightened. Now good spiritual practice can lean you towards this direction. In a sort of meditation like practice one can achieve this. True enlightenment.

Peace,
Droz

I agree with the above statement, but truley as human beings it seems we have a tendency to do Bad and a reluctancy to do good. It would hardly be ying and yang. Today we live in a world with a rediculous amount of corruption. There is little good in it from what I see... But that is not to say i am not hopeful for a better future. It seems to me that people are caught up in self-worship, they excude egotism. I cannot help but think that people do need enlightenment but, there is a sense that people are afraid to let go of any of their material possesions because it is the only thing that fills the empty void in their souls. Peoples sense of humanity is gone.

With little corruption nothing ever goes over the edge. With a lot of corruption the tables will definetly turn out to be even better then before. It must fluctuate, too much corruption will lead to destruction of an entirety. Once completely destroyed it shall be rebuilt and to rebuild something there must be order. Notice the fluctuation, if one wants to exist for longer periods of time, there must be balance. There is nothing wrong with a little bit of chaos. As there is nothing wrong with being reborn.

Peace,
Droz

a little bit of corruption? I see corruption as a cancer, all it does is multiply and spread. Which would you rather have, no cancer or a little?

Single dualism; one less than zero and one greater than zero equals three.

[(-1) + 1 = 0 ] = 3

good and evil are just concepts,
externalizations of the tendencies of any moment's action or thought or speech.

there are no good and evil absolutes.
they are teensey things -
irrelevant beyond a single moment.
that is the only field of action for karma.
