Hello recently a friend gave me the homestead shroom kit bud because i m not good with agar i just took the sporeprint and made a few syringes from it . only 4 jars made it out alive. i birthed 3 jars in a tupperware terrium on is showing nothing the other two are growing really thick mycelium it looks like big bumps everywhere. When am i going to get some shrooms. o yeah im using perlite for humidifacation and i birthed the cakes about a week ago.

you should put the whole terarium in the fridge for 5 hours then take it out. are they getting enough light?

Also, If your not fanning your set-up, you may want to start. You need to decrease CO2 levels and increase O2. Fanning does this quiet well. This is also a triggering devise for fruiting.

no there deffently not shrooms i grew shrooms before and the bumps just look like more mycelium is growing but there is just no substrate for it to grow into. it is just growing out like a shroom would.

here are some pics of the bumps on the cakes. some of the bumps look like aborts or stems but they are just mycelium. im getting frustrated these have been in the terrium for a week and a half.

Looks like to high of a humidity. There sitting right on the perlite. Try sticking them on jar lids on the perlite. Also could be overlay starting. You may want to try casing the cakes. This might be your best bet at this point.:) bluhoney

well i just ate all that fluffy stuff on my cakes then cased thgat actually cake itself hope to get some shrooms
