Yes, psilocybin has been detected in the mycelium of Psilocybe cubensis.

Soke them in cranberry juice to dissolve the mycelia and then strain out the other stuff. You will trip. Do a forum search for more extraction information.

I've made tea out of left overs a few times. By "left overs" I mean mushrooms I used to make tea a few days ago. I usually save the strained material and store it in the freezer. Anyway, cakes bruise like mushrooms, so I think it makes sense they contain psilocybin. Once it stops making mushrooms, boiling it makes sense...but the older the cake, the more likely it's harboring harmful bacteria.

Well to get decent amounts you would need quite a big tank with mycelium it's better to make extractions from shrooms if think.

For optimal results, wait until pins form for a higher psilocybin content. I have no references, but recall hearing this from other members; also, SWIM has not seen any blue bruising on any of his cakes until after pinning.

Yahh, pinning or dry colinizing. Takes forever on the dry colinizing, but it is extremely dense growth. Also consider using flat pans instead of jars, spread out grain so you can see the bottom/
This make a much higher myc to substrate ratio. Works very well, also consider azure myc, much stronger ime.
