I have been doing mushrooms for quite awhile, and I just now wanted to start growing them.. I have no idea what I'm doing, please help me out. I wanted to know, is there a way to make the shrooms from scratch, like without spore prints. And how would I do that?

Man I'm no expert but clearly it's not possible to grow without spores from one medium or another. You can basically get prints and make a syringe or get a syringe - there is no other way (that is practical). If you want to grow shrooms i think you will DEFINATELY NEED to read at least the PFTEK or something similar - and you should read some posts here too. It's not exactly a huge time investment compared to the actual project and its returns.

Then u shouldn't be here. U can not rush this type of thing!!! Read the MMGG in the Grow find section and the PF way , I am partial to the MMGG. It is really easy to grow. And u can get a good setup for under 50 buck prolly less. U need a spore syringe ( 10.00 bucks ) verimculate ( 2 Bucks) Brown Rice Flour ( 3 buck) A styrofoam cooler ( 5-8 bucks or less) and perlite ( 2 bucks) If u don't have a pressure cooker just use a pot w/ boiling water, but read up on it first. If ur not willing to read and research then this is not fur u, I think I enjoy growing shrooms more than using them( for the most part) ....... Oh yeah I don't grow mushrooms hehehe.

Don't rush into this dude, right as you read my post you think something bad. Hear me out, I just can't find spore prints and I was asking if there's anyway to grow w/o prints.

Right, don't rush. That's advise to YOU. Rusher... :P

Prints are not hard to find on the net, goto the vendors forum and check it out. They can be sent in a letter, are cheap and there shouldnt be problem with any authorities. But if it were impossible for you to get prints for some reason, you could get a fresh shroom and make your own print, or even a dry one (but it will probably be dirty/contaminate your substrate) or you could order a syringe.
