oK now I have made a couple post about this promblem I'm having, and nothin seems to work. I have used the 50/50 casing tek, and Perlite humidification to try and grow some P.cubesis. Now it's been 2 weeks that these 4 8"x4" casings have been pinning and I have only been able to pick about 40 grams wet. and at that only two mushrooms have reached full size. can anyone tell me exactlly what I can do to get lots of big shroomies and less aborts

what strain are you using? if for example you are using PF's house strain, then you can expect a lot of aborts and poor performance in a tray casing. is the bottom of your tray allowing moisture to directly soak your substrate? if so, you should have a layer of casing material on the bottom. if you have a lot of substrate, you may need to do additional fannings or rig an automatic setup.

be patient, some people harvest the shrooms way early, and the natural result is that they are small

Get the most rizomorphic looking part off of a multispore germination. You can't miss them. Long ropey things that twist all over. Transfer that piece of rope to a new jar of rice.
You'll see great results because you will get tons of pins instead of just one or two here or there.
It's work but it will turn into the only way you'll want to do things.
