Hi, i'm fairly new to this board, and mushrooms in general. This coming week is spring break for us and the weather is just now getting decent for the season and we're hoping to harvest some mushrooms for spring break. My question is about my friend. He just went through a breakup from his girlfriend he's been seeing for the past year and a half, and his dad nearly caught him smoking lately and he was really upset and worried about that for a while. I was wondering if it would be safe for him to do mushrooms after these emotional experiences that occurred within the same week. We've never done them before (except one of us) and so we were going to do a low dose just to try them (2-2.5 grams dried=how many wet?).
Id say that it just depends. For a first time, I might have to say no. You really dont want thoughts of getting caught or any that make you worry. Worrying is the start of a bad trip. If you go into the trip with total confidence, youll be okay. Social problems usually arent that big of a deal when your tripping. A death in the family is something you probably wouldnt want to mess with, but just the idea of being caught smoking pot really isnt that big of a deal. You tend to forget about that. especially on your first trip...there are just so many other things to think about and be in wonderment of.
