I bought the EZ-Gro kit from Homestead a while ago and its working great (I took the lazy man's way). Anyways its supposed to continue producing mushrooms until the nutrients in the compost supplied runs out. I was wondering if anyone would think that just transfering some of the mycelium to a new compost pile would allow it to grow again so i could produce mushrooms indefinetly.

it may work, but certainly not indefinutly, 'cuz you'll get contams in there long before the shrooms have a chance. transfer should be done as soon as possible. there are teks in the grow/find area like honeywater tek that may enable you to use clean mycelium to start over. this is not really a begginer tek though.
