2pics possible amanita type and big cope
    #397385 - 09/18/01 05:44 AM (22 years, 19 days ago)

This is one of the big copes I usually find early in the season. Cannot wait! Look at the size of it next to the cubie. It does not take many bigguns like that for good yawns and dreams.

I would never eat the one in the second photo but would like to know what it is. I do not see many of them in Queensland. this was growing on a manicured lawn.
Peace
Brewin

That is a yellow blusher. -Amanita flavorubescens
-Well, if its stalk stained reddish, and rendered white sporeprints, then it most likely would be flavorubescens.

Nice copelandia your picturing!

Nice pics!

Best place to find genuine Amanita muscaria is around birch trees.
