#1 Low doses of shrooms will heighten sexual response.

#2 The specialists treating McKenna stated they felt his use of Magic Mushrooms had no bearing on his condition. Look at all the people who use shrooms and no brain tumors.

#3 Learning is an endless struggle. I rarely get headaches after power plants. Yet if I do its part of the trip. Usually the benefits come later. Just as a thought, a headache may be the shrooms way of telling you, to do some growing on your own and don't count on them for everything. Who knows?

Well I don't know if when you say power plants you mean something other than mushrooms. I'm talking about mushrooms. I get a headache afterwards. 99% of people get a headache afterwards. Kids on the internet like to say they don't get a headache after they do drugs cause they front that they're a tough guy. I don't understand that, there's no shame in the post drug-use headache.

I've never had a head ache after using mushrooms, are you drinking alcohol while you're tripping? Where did you get the statistic 99%?

Dude, spend $16 at Walgreens and buy a self-take blood-pressure cuff. I've gone through a couple and they're about 6 mm less than the actual systolic/diastolic numbers, but if you're getting a headache, and it's not from becoming emotionally upset at some psychodynamic stuff coming out, then I strongly recommend that you take your blood pressure before you dose, and during the peak. Practice or have someone who knows how do it for you. Until I developed hypertension, I never got headaches from any psychedelics. In fact, I used to use slivers of blotter acid to counteract migraine attacks (usually triggered by alcohol) because there were always some unconverted ergot compounds in the acid to shrink my swollen arteries during a migraine.

I don't know about you, but I'm past 50 and the body changes. I had hypertension at 40, possibly earlier. You really don't want a stroke during a trip - or at any time.

Edit for stupid people: I don't blame the mushrooms. I get headaches just fine without them as well.  :smirk:
