Cops Pull Over 'King Of Wild Frontier'

ST. CHARLES, Mo.(AP) - Police see some unusual things when they make traffic stops, but when deputies in St. Charles County, Mo., pulled over an erratic driver on Interstate 70 Thursday, they didn't expect to find a driver who looked like Davy Crockett.

The driver -- dressed as a frontiersman -- told the officers he was headed west to deliver blankets and supplies to the Indians.

Deputies said that inside the car they found an assault rifle with a fully loaded clip, handguns, ammunition and other weapons, along with a large amount of marijuana.

The driver was taken into custody. He faces drug and weapons charges.
