mushroom tea question

My friends birthday is coming up and I want to surprise her with some mushroom tea. I have about 7 grams of good dry zooms and I was thinking of making tea. I've read over a few recipes on here and on erowid. My plan was to dust the shrooms in a coffee grinder (we use it to bust bud) and then just boil it in some water until its all happy.

The two questions that I have is:

will a long/very hot boil kill the psycobilin? and

will the tea still be fine if I let it cool down and put it in a thermos for later drinking?

From what I understand a long boil will result in a decrease in potency. This is probably why people don't use heat in drying their mushrooms. You just need to use more than you would for a normal two dose serving, to account for the loss of some of the potency. As far as for it being O.K. to make and then save, it will be fine. Some of the best shroom tea I ever had was bought from Miss Brown herself in Negril, Jamaica. She would boil it up and serve it in a one liter bottle, chilled. It was awesome. ive never noticed decreased potency in boiled shrooms, in fact the best trips ive ever had were makin kool-aid and drinking it. ive boiled them a long time and still got off well.
