sterile mutants

ive posted ages ago on this but still it bugs me
i have a sterile B isolate. perfect fruits and a good strain but with no spores!
im not sure whether to ditch it or keep it in storage
anyway now ive got artificial heating theres still no spores which is a bitch co i wnat to trade some
your thoughts?

If it produces good fruits I would keep it. But if your looking to get spores for a trade, your not gonna get them from that isolate. Usually they are genetically sterile.

how is it over there in WA?

I got a commercial B+ petri culture which colonised the jars like mad without any contams, and they were sterile also - the gills always stayed pale without spores, but they were beautiful-looking fruits (ok I am biased!) :tongue:
