Heres a two in one

First of all, if some of my cakes have a beigeish coloration in parts, does that mean anything? (they are in the terrarium currently)

Second...My humidity is at a ateady 86%...Do i need perlite? Is it that helpful?

The beige coloration can either be a contam or it could simply be from water droplets forming on the cake.

I believe, for best fruiting, that the humidity has to be higher. Perlite helps quite a bit to regulate humidity. Read up on some of the teks.

Rh should be higher for pinning but lower for fruiting.
