You can transfer pots of boiling water one at a time into a heavy duty rubbermaid container. Put the straw under a brick or something heavy to keep it submerged. Keep running pots of water to it until the desired temp is reached. Check temp, cover, and repeat until finished.

If you have two identical rubbermaids, it helps to put one inside the other for extra strength and insulation. I put a towel down between the two rubbermaids for extra insulation to keep the floor from drawing the heat out. Put both lids on top with a towel between them for insulation as well. This should keep the water hot during the entire pasteurization cycle.

OR, buy spawnbags, mix straw/poo (just straw in your case) in bowl and hydrate to field capacity and do an oven pastuerization

this method always seemed easiest to me, all you need are bags, a meat therm and some way to mostly close off the bags, GL though
