dry substrate

I have dried out substrate (BRF/verm) in my jars and they've stunted myc growth tremendously. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Would re-innoculating be a waste? How do I safely re-moisturize the substrate if I can?

With grains there is a chance of rehydrating by using sterile water via syringe, but with BRF jars I'm afraid all you can do is correct your mistake next batch.
