so... people from the middle east dont have rights like everyone else, or dont deserve to be mourned? I for one am quite sad about the racism going around america since the attacks, just because the people who supposedly did it were muslims doesnt mean all muslims are evil assholes. and why is it that no one is worried by the potential of another vietnam? when i really started thinking about it, Afghanistan has many battle hardened soldiers and some very fanatical people... they can kill alot of americans through guerilla warfare.

****so... people from the middle east dont have rights like everyone else, or dont deserve to be mourned**** No i said i don't give a shit about them. it's really quite simple. I'm leaning towards a isolationist United States. ****why is it that no one is worried by the potential of another vietnam? **** Things have changed since vietnam...get out of the 60's ****Afghanistan has many battle hardened soldiers and some very fanatical people**** no shit......and we have about a million pissed off service members ****they can kill alot of americans through guerilla warfare**** who do you think invented guerilla warfare? I'm not impressed or intimidated by them.

A lot of people don't know how to properly display the U.S. flag in this type of situation. These are the guidlines: Display of the Flag at Half-Staff

Very good, Aglia! Unlike others, at least you've an opinion, and some care for what has befallen this Great Society.

"Things have changed since vietnam...get out of the 60's" well, things always change, but afghanistan is a brutal country to fight against. "no shit......and we have about a million pissed off service members" im sure they are no where near as fanatical as the afghans. "who do you think invented guerilla warfare? I'm not impressed or intimidated by them." like you said, stop living in the past, this isnt the 60s, and it definately isnt the 18th century. i was just saying, america is always a cocky country, and it usually takes a few thousand dead young men to humble them. hell, maybe it will be another persian gulf war, in that case it would be all for the best. but it could also be another vietnam. "No i said i don't give a shit about them. it's really quite simple. I'm leaning towards a isolationist United States." hmm, i hope you know isolating ourselves isnt gonna help america out. if it wasnt for every other country being forced to buy our crap, we would never be as strong as we are now. diversity and selling to foreign markets made america, and it will keep it strong.

***afghanistan is a brutal country to fight against*** so is the United States ***i was just saying, america is always a cocky country*** It's not cocky or bragging if you can do it. ***but it could also be another vietnam*** They said the same thing about the Gulf war..hmmm..and the Iraq's where supposedly "battle hardened" ***hmm, i hope you know isolating ourselves isnt gonna help america out*** I meant socially. I would restrict my involvement in other countries to pure capitalism...not social situations.

"***afghanistan is a brutal country to fight against*** so is the United States" but, for different reasons altogether. America is a real military force because its rich as hell. Afghanistan has a history of being a country with vicious soldiers. America, on the other hand, has a history of green soldiers who have lots of really nice things that helps them win. "It's not cocky or bragging if you can do it." but, its been proven before that they were cocky when they shouldn't have been (of course in contrast to the last few wars america has a reason to be cocky). "***but it could also be another vietnam*** They said the same thing about the Gulf war..hmmm..and the Iraq's where supposedly "battle hardened" " em, if your gonna quote me, could you at least include the full quote and not take it out of conext? i said it could very likely be another persian gulf, but theres always a chance of another military fuckup.
