No real differences. Some people like me get somewhat of a placebo effect of eating wet. It feels like it makes it more spiritual. That's actually due to the mindset.. so placebo. I do prefer wet.

ummm..i would have to disagree with that....
cubs have Psilocin, which degrades after being picked...the Psilocybin i much more stable and survives drying...
so wet you get extra psilocin in the wet form, that would normally have decomposed...

so wet are technically "stronger"

Wet is noticably more potent... and easier to chew

I prefer dry only because:
1.) Less to eat @ once. Wet can vary, you have to eat a LOT of liberty caps to = a dose when they're fresh heh.
2.) Easier to grind and toss in OJ

No other reason.

I can think of ONE other reason.

Dry is easier to measure, weigh and cover the bitter taste.

Was that more than one?

But wet (Freshly picked especially) are mo' potent.

Definitely dry - but ground-up and mixed in fruit juice - easier to digest and makes the trip much more fluid.

how is dry easier to measure? if you fuck up with the measuring of dry mushrooms, it is 10 times as bad as fucking up with the same ammount in a wet dose.

Since quantity isn't an issue for me the potency doesn't matter.

The fresh shrooms I think can be enjoyed as an acquired taste. If you like the taste of fresh mushrooms, and then eat dried ones you will notice they aren't as good.

Kind of like tomatoes. I prefer fresh, but dried are ok.

Because you can't count on it breaking down by a factor of 10. 35gs wet sometimes dries to 3.5g, but othertimes it'll dry to 2gs. It varies, so with fresh shrooms you never really know how much you're actually taking.

fresh is better. So much easier to chew, and they definately taste better(not good but better).

Yeah, I thought that was a "given"

and Oh YEAH. Easier to knock back a small glass of OJ with some powdery magic in it than chomping down mushrooms.

I also never have bad nausea, if they're ground and mixed with juice.

Even tho i have tripped about 4 times on dry p. cubensis and only once on fresh i still belive that dry are more potent, eating about 6 caps dry knocks my socks off. When i ate the fresh ones they gave me a bad trip im not sure why.. it could of been that none of my other friends were felling them and i was the only one, who knows also it could of been because an asshole of a friend was fuckin with me while i was tripping and also i was in a strange neighbor hood ive never been before. SO I ASK IS IT REALLY WORTH DOWNING A HALF POUND OF WATER LOGGED CUBES OR IS DRYING THE BEST WAY?
