Water Overload.
    #3944618 - 03/20/05 05:00 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I accidentally put too much water on my perlite and there is like swamp at the bottom of my chamber. Is that bad to add to much water to the perlite? Could I go ahead and stick my cakes in or is there something to be concerned about? I really don't want to clean the mess out. :frown:

as long as it is stable and the cakes are supported you'll be fine.

You should be ok. Just don't mist until the standing water is gone. Or maybe a slight mist on the sides with some good fanning.

2 in's perlite, 1in water. If you put to much water in use a turkey baster to remove excess. To much water will effect wickering effect.
