Cactus ID?
    #3943139 - 03/20/05 09:59 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

I was out earlier picking up stuff to start on my herb and vegtable garden and happened to pick up two cacti. I've never grown any kind of cactus before and just wanted to know what kind I have so that I can look up information on caring for them. They actually had the flowers hot glued on the tops of them. wtf? Anyway I think they may be Gymnocalycium ("Chin Cactus").

Here's some pics.

Here's the second and bigger of the two cacti. IT's got 4 pups coming off the side.

They are Echinopsis sp hybrids. When you repot them add a bit of superphosphate to unleash their flowering potential.
