I live in Nashville right now, and it probably isnt better than vegas; But my hometown is the greatest city ever...... (drumroll) Ocean Springs, MS. im not kidding either...here is why....
here is sunset every day... 
here is a pic of your average day on the beach... 
The whole city is almost a peninsula in the gulf of mexico. What most people dont know about the gulf coast, is that there are sub-tropical islands! many of them! the fishing is great, the water is perfect. probably 40% of property is beachfront, and Biloxi, MS which is just 2.3 miles away, has all the casinos you want (not to mention one of the countries biggest... Beau Rivage). There are more restaraunts and art shops per capita than most metropolitan areas or cities. For some reason, the women there are beautiful and in high concentration, in the summer time all 3 (yea three) of our beaches look like an abercrombie and fitch commercial. Seafood is done right, and in the summer a crawfish boil everyday, and the winter a pig roast quite occasionaly. Everyone has a dog and atleast one acre of land. It is just a perfect city, where the forest meets the water.
I could go on all day about my hometown.... it is truly beautiful, and a great place to trip also! why did I leave? well, you just gotta get out of your hometown, no matter how perfect it is...

that's easy. it's in the middle of the woods. i can throw a rock off my back porch and it will land in lake norfork (where the world record brown trout was caught). bull shoals lake is 10 mins away. the white river is less than 10 mins away. the buffalo river is just down the road. national forests are all around. plenty of creeks, hills and trees for everyone. i see deer and other wild animals every day. the air is clean, the streets aren't polluted or jammed. the people here are goood. i always leave my front door unlocked. i usually leave the windows down, doors unlocked, and keys in the ignition when i leave my truck somewhere.

I live only 30 minutes away from Galveston Island and my helper just bought a new boat so its fishing time at least 5-6 times a week...
Damn i love catching reds, speckled trout, flounder, sharks....

My city sucks ass, cuz i gotta drive down 7.27.35 hours to get to the coast but we put in at Port O'Conner and have a drunkin fun time.
