before you overheat...
    #3936014 - 03/18/05 02:00 PM (19 years, 14 days ago)

just take it slow, you don't need to be search hounds all the time that point their paws at bullshit. Go outside and take a walk.
Spring is comming. The air is getting warmer and smells nicer every day. So forget about others people irrationality, let them see it for themselfs. Let go of idols and changing ideals, and just have fun and learn a thing or two in your life. And be loved and love others.
Accept everyone and everything for what it is without judging, time will sort out true from false on its own, and in the meantime, your life will be a more pleasant experience. You are not here to figure it all out, just accept the gifts standing in front of you

i will ...thank you for the advise...

"Six words: drop out, turn on, then come back and tune it in -and then drop out again, and turn on, and tune it back in-it's a rhythm- most of us think God made this universe in nature-subject object-predicate sentences-turn on, tune in, drop out- period, end of paragraph. Turn the page- it's all a rhythm- it's all a beat. You turn on, you find it inside, and then you have to come back (since you can't stay high all the time) and you have to build a better model. But don't get caught - don't get hooked - don't get attracted by the thing you're building, cause... you gotta drop out again. It's a cycle. Turn on, tune in, drop out. Keep it going, keep it going- the nervous system works that way. gotta keep it flowing- keep it flowing.

>>>Accepting everything for what it is, is what makes everything so fucked IMO. Our disagreement and desire to know has lead us to these forums to begin with... We wouldn't be discussing anything other then giving ourselves a collective pat on the back were it that we all just accepeted everything. Everyone is here for different purposes.

Good post btw... at least someone is trying to calm down all the flames

I don't expect to find any truth here. Everyone here comes with their own little stories, prejudgements, judgements, beliefs, life histories, emotions, moods, even their own logic, and these are all interconnected. To this is like fun to me. I come here to play with different ideas, to play logic games, to share ideas and experiences. In general I love discussing, it's a challenge.

I'd just prefer if people around here weren't so attached to their beliefs, and were aware that they will never know anything for certain.

Yes, i hear you there red. To much study and little practice gives me a headache. Better to stick to the essentials and get what needs to be done with minimum fuss and intellectual garbage. In the end it all comes down to one thing, developing Loving Kindness for all beings.

All you need is Love! Really thats it! Infinite Unconditional Love! Just develop that and all else will fall into place perfectly!
