One shot is with flash, the other is without. (hence the color temperature difference) What say you? Green mold? I've never caught it this early so I'm thinking it can be saved with a little surgical work since the cake is otherwise flourishing. I usually don't catch it till the green mold gets all iridescent and sparkly then it's all over :P
Yes, I double end cased with Jiffy Mix. Oddly enough those cakes are doing MUCH better than the cakes I double cased with verm. (but that's more of an aside)
ok, cut it open and to my untrained eye it appears to have metastasized since no matter how deep I cut I still see the occasional green (def green, not blue) speckle or vein. I'm gunna observe it for another day or and watch those veins and speckles since this is the first time I've cut anything open.

Oh and I'll be replacing the casing.
what's sterilizing the blade going to do when u have the worst contam in ur substrate and its going to get all over the knife plus your only pushing the contams deeper into the substrate if you dnt have fruits wash under faucet if it has fruits wet the contamed area then rub the mold with fingers while holding a clean shop vac hose over contam and after that salt the used to be infected area
